Dr. Scott Law DMD, CAGS

Dr. Scott LawDr. Scott Law has a treatment philosophy that includes the overall health of not just the teeth and jaws, but the life changing confidence that comes with having a smile to be proud of.

Striving to deliver the best care possible, Dr. Law is a part of several professional organizations and study clubs keeping up to date with the latest technologies and techniques. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, The Pitts Progressive Study Club, The Schulman Study Group and is President of The Progressive Orthodontist Study Group.

Dr. Law grew up in Arizona where he played basketball in high school. His senior year he lead his team to a 31-0 season where he set a 5-A Arizona state record of six 3-pointer in the championship game. (A record that still stands!) After high school he went on to serve a 2 year church mission in Mexico were he learned a love of life through service. He also learned Spanish but readily admits he needs to speak it more often.

Dr. Law played basketball in college as he worked towards the credits necessary for going to dental school. He attended The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and upon graduating practiced as a general dentist in Scottsdale, AZ. Although he loved general practice he really loved orthodontics. So Dr. Law, with family in tow attended Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics in Jacksonville, FL for 2 years additional training specializing in orthodontics.

Together with his family of 7, they proudly call Central Texas home and love it here. Some of the heat of Arizona with some of the humidity of Jacksonville made it an easy adjustment and a perfect fit.

Along with sports he loves caricaturing, playing on the computer and listening to and playing music. (He and his wife used to be Karaoke DJ’s in dental school too). With four young children he loves to stay busy doing ‘daddy-time’ whether it’s hide and go seek, Uno, cars, or wrestling with Mimi (13), Katie (11), Luke (9), Elsie (7) and Wesley (3). You might also spot Dr. Law out with his wife enjoying some sushi or a great hamburger on the weekends.
