Richard R. Woehrle, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Woehrle is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, where he received his D.D.S. degree as an OKU honor graduate. He received his orthodontic training and M.S. degree in 1976 from the University of Illinois Graduate College and was recognized with the William B. Downs Award for Clinical Excellence.

Dr. Woehrle retired from the U.S. Army in 1993. During the course of his career, he completed a General Dentistry Internship, published in the Journal of Dental Research and achieved Diplomate status from the American Board of Orthodontics. His military awards include the Expert Field Medical Badge, Parachute Badge and Air Assault Badge.

Subsequent to Dr. Woehrle’s military career, he earned a B.S. degree in Computer Science, graduating Summa Cum Laude from The University of Central Texas. He also matriculated with three additional associate degrees from Central Texas College.

Dr. Woehrle is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. He has resided in Central Texas since retirement, is married and has two grown sons.
